Wolf Parade returned with new song “Against The Day” last month, hinting that a new album was on the horizon. Well today that is confirmed with the arrival of another new song “Forest Green,” uploaded to Spotify. Both songs will be included on their new album Thin Mind, which will be released via Sub Pop on January 24th.
Now operating as just a trio with longtime member Dante DeCaro recently departing the band, they continue to strive forward with a chugging rocker that has Dan Boeckner’s fingerprints all over it. Operating somewhere between the anthemic rock of all his work as well as the glossy keys from Spencer Krug that add his colorful flourishes, not to mention the persistent drum work of the always steady Arlen Thompson.
So if 2019 can just get out of the way now, we got a new Wolf Parade album to attend to in a few short months.
