California artist Kip Nelson has returned with the chugging psych-rock jam “Be on My Side” that features the vocals of Bira.
The groovy sunny nature of the song channels a lot of the early work of acts like Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Tame Impala, while finding a groove very much of its own.
As it’s described by Nelson:
“Be on My Side” is about friendship, love, fear, consciousness and hallucination. A sonic blip in time, so quick the listener wonders if they even heard the song at all.
