Ten years ago Sigur Rós’s Jónsi and his partner Alex Somers released their collaborative album Riceboy Sleeps. They’ve been celebrating the album’s 10th anniversary with a special set of tour dates where they’ve been bringing the album to life for the very first time with the Wordless Music Orchestra and Choir.

Last night they stopped into Brooklyn for a performance on Halloween at the always beautiful Kings Theatre. Both Jónsi and Alex were dressed in costume as they were surrounded by the many members of the Wordless Music Orchestra and Choir who helped recreate these songs for the live setting that was every bit as comforting and soothing as you would expect.
