Formerly London-based but now Brooklyn-based artist Shura released her second album forevher via Secretly Canadian in August and has been touring in support of the LP since late September. The North American leg of this tour wrapped up in front of a sold out audience at Music Hall of Williamsburg on the 23rd of October.
Backed by a bassist/keyboardist and a drummer, Shura treated the boisterous crowd to a 13-song setlist that included selections from both forever and her debut Nothing’s Real. For the first song of the encore, “Tommy,” opener Hannah Cohen and her guitarist Maia Friedman joined Shura on stage to provide additional vocals and instrumentation respectively.
