Split Screens, the project of San Francisco’s Jesse Cafiero, has recently returned with his brand new EP Everyday Static, of which we previously shared first single “Need From Me.”
With the release of the EP, they have released the music video for current EP single “From the Start,” a lush and expansive rock effort that showcases Cafiero’s vocals and a strong folk-rock melodic sense that feels warm and familiar.
The music video for the track is a stop-motion video made by Cafiero himself that was animated frame-by-frame by hand using over a hundred vintage collage cutouts from books found from at library sales, goodwill, and a variety of other donation-based stores.
