Melissa Mary Ahern is a Brooklyn based singer-songwriter who you may remember from her feature on Sufjan Steven’s 2007-based rarity “Lonely Man of Winter” which was released last December via Asthmatic Kitty.
She is gearing up for the release of her self-produced EP which she worked with Doveman (best known for his work with St. Vincent and Sufjan Stevens) with the release of her beautiful and delicate single “Maria, Maria,” a song that is described as a “love ballad about a true heart connection with a woman named Maria.”
