Earlier this year saw Los Angeles artist Alya release her debut album Ten Years of Solitude.

The album was released in January but after being inspired by Russia’s Natalya Vodyanova, Alya has decided to donate all profits from the album towards Vodianova’s Naked Heart Foundation that will “directly impact their mission to help kids with special needs and learning disabilities.”

“Heart Shaped Hole” is a standout offering from the album that shows her powerful vocal range and the backing production values that raise the bar for the track and offering a powerful listen that is reminiscent of some of the strong woman-led music of the 90s.

Enjoy a listen to “Heart Shaped Hole” below and find the whole album available to purchase from Bandcamp.
