Last year Solange really made the big time jump with her critically acclaimed new album A Seat at the Table (released via her own Saint Records/Columbia Records).

Since then she’s been headlining festivals and some pretty big shows on her own. An impressive feat considering the last time we saw her she was opening for Vampire Weekend at Barclays Center.

She returned to New York for two nights headlining at the prestigous Radio City Music Hall. We caught night one of the shows on October 2 and let me tell you, Solange has come a long, long way as both an artist and a performer. It was truly amazing to see her put on a show with such a massive production value, with so many musicians and singers on stage that I honestly lost count.

She’s truly made the leap to the big time and it’s great to see.

Find some (iPhone) photos posted below from her performance as well as the setlist and a shot of Earl Sweatshirt, who opened the show.
