Following an eventful first day of the 2017 edition of The Meadows, we returned nice and early on Saturday to catch a set from the experimental group BadBadNotGood.

(Big Boi)

The rest of the day was heavy on hip-hop, as we caught sets from Big Boi, LL Cool J, Erykah Badu, De La Soul and Future.

The true standout was LL Cool J, who delivered a highly enjoyable and energetic performance that completely one me over and was quite possibly the best set of the entire weekend, even featuring bringing out special guests such as Q-Tip, D.M.C. and The Furious Five.

(M.I.A.)

The rest of the night was rounded off in strong fashion with a typically great performance from indie rock mainstays TV On The Radio, a lively performance from M.I.A. and the headlining performance from Gorillaz that features all their greatest hits, selections from their new album Humanz, and plenty of surprise appearances from the likes of Mos Def, Jehnny Beth, De La Soul, Pusha T, Peven Evertt and more. It was an epic performance that has the entire Meadows crowd riding their energy from start to finish and a perfect finish to day two of The Meadows.

Find photos from all the performances we caught from day two posted in the gallery below and stayed tuned for coverage of day three coming soon.
