1_La Luz_Bowery Ballroom

Seattle surf-rockers La Luz returned this summer with another winner with Weirdo Shrine, their sophomore release for Hardly Art. The record is awesome, but getting to see them perform its tracks along with offerings from 2013’s It’s Alive was a completely different thing entirely.

La Luz are a band meant to be seen live, where their energy and passion is simply unshakeable. This was the case during their fun jaunt at Bowery Ballroom on August 29, which featured a strong opening bill that included EZTV and Scully.
