After a series of life-changing personal events, Samuel Proffitt decided to switch things up from his electronic mindset and embark on a different territory. He found a way to mesh the world of dance music along with a r&b flavored style of songwriting, to create a sound that is accurately described on his facebook page’s location, “winter.”
On new single “Sirens,” he captures a wondrous sound that is both intimate and large-scale, emotional but feel good. He made the track in collaboration with New England-based producer AOBeats. It’s well produced and well-crafted, kicking off 2015 off just right.
