Inside Llewyn Davis is a movie about a folk rock musician who tries to make it in New York during the 1960’s. It’s directed by The Coen Brothers, naturally making it one of my most anticipated films of the year.

With its connection to music, it’s only natural that a concert has been announced on September 29 at Town Hall in New York City. Put together by The Coen Brothers and T Bone Burnett, who produced the films soundtrack, it will features live performances by the films stars Oscar Isaac, John Goodman, and Carey Mulligan. Unfortunately, no Justin Timberlake. There will also be appearances and performances by the following musicians: Jack White, Conor Oberst, Joan Baez, Patti Smith, Colin Meloy (The Decemberists), Marcus Mumford, The Avett Brothers, Rhiannon Giddens (Carolina Chocolate Drops), Lake Street Dive, Milk Carton Kids, Punch Brothers, Secret Sisters, Gillian Welch & Dave Rawlings, and Willie Watson.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 12 p.m. Find out more about the event over at Filmtastic.
