Daft Punk are cool enough that get to remix their own songs. But then again, they’re also good enough to make the songs into new wholes and create almost a new song within a song.
This is what they did on their remix of “Get Lucky” , where they extended the song to 10-minutes, mixing Pharrel’s vocals with theirs almost battling for the spotlight.
A 12″ of featuring the remix as well as the album/radio edit will come out July 16. Check out the remix below.
