It’s been a long time since Tanlines released new music. That all changed last night when the bands twitter exploded with a wave of tweets that included news of a new album and a new song. The name of the new album is Mixed Emotions, and the song is called “Brothers”.
The tweets read:
I’m VERY excited to share with you guys first a new song called “Brothers”. It’s the first song on our new album Please download it and share it. Will follow up with more stuff and details very soon. LISTEN LOUD. Brothers was the name of the studio where we started Tanlines, but I think the song is a good idea of where we are right now.
Believe it or not, Mixed Emotions is their debut album. True Panther is releasing the album on March 20th.
“Brothers” doesn’t disappoint. It begins with lush ocean waves, light percussion, and then a deep bass groove pounds away. All three start pacing away equally as Eric Emm’s vocals chime in. The song is cake from there. An absolute delight from start to finish. It’s good to have Tanlines back, bring on the rest of the album.
