On May 10th, Wild Beasts will release their new album, Smother, via Domino Records. This is the much anticipated follow up to their acclaimed 2009 album, Two Dancers.
The album was recorded in East London and Wales, with production duties shared by Richard Formby and the band themselves.
The press release describes Smother as “An album of intense atmosphere, space and beguiling rhythm, Smother is formed of ten songs, which linger in the memory, each track pulsing with sensuality.”
Sounds pretty damn good, if you ask me. The band has made a short preview trailer available. It’s short but it’s also pretty damn nice. Check that out below, along with the tracklist:
