On February 8th Panda Bear returned with his sixth album Buoys via Domino Records. He recently kicked off his new tour in support of the record, which included a sold out two-night run at Pioneer Works in Brooklyn.
He kicked off the show with one of his biggest songs, “Comfy in Nautica,” making it perfectly clear that we were in for a special night. Nearly half the set was made up of new material from Buoys, which he previewed for us the last time we saw him perform live, last year at Brooklyn Steel.
The set featured a typically diverse set of older material, mixed with some trippy visuals to perfectly accompany his electrifying set the whole way through.
