In 2017 Gin Blossoms celebrated the 25th anniversay of their breakthrough album New Miserable Experience with a tour that saw them play the whole album in it’s entirely. They and their fans seemed to enjoy the experience so much that they expanded the tour for a run of dates this year, which also tied into the release of their new album Mixed Reality last year.
On February 11th they brought the tour to New York for a sold out performance at Bowery Ballroom. Along with the album, the band played a selection of other songs from their catalog, as well as a cover of Radiohead’s “Fake Plastic Trees.”
