New York singer-songwriter Tom Gluewicki released his new Tender Glue album Closet Leftovers on September 28th and we have previously shared both “Endlessly” and “Rudy” from the album.

Today we hit back “City Girl,” a track that came from a personal place of reflection for Gluewicki, as he describes below:

I often think how my life would look like if I would be born here in New York City. I grew up in a smaller town in Poland and through the years, I noticed that people from the city have different values, but people from town have this way of being. This song is an imagination of a person who is born here, but resembles someone from a village with humble and honest values.
