Back in August, we had the chance to premiere “Woo Hoo,” an awesome new song from Corona, California indie rockers Castle Pines.

They’ve since returned with their latest single “March Mellow,” a track that tackles themes of isolation and loneliness, inspired by seeing Castle Pines drummer Sterling Fairfield spend months in the hospital and almost dying because of Crohn’s Disease.

The thoughtful lyrics and approach is handled well by the atmospheric texture of their guitars and the big aim of their brand of rock that is both uplifting but also sobering in nature.

Enjoy a the official music video for “March Mellow” below, which was directed by Michael Arteaga.
