Villagers is set to return with new album The Art Of Pretending To Swim on September 21 via Domino Records.
It’s been great to see his growth over the years and the new album’s opening cut “Again,” demonstrates just how far his folk sound has expanded over the years. There’s definitely still that genuine songwriting power that he’s had since day one, just with some added electronic and synth elements that allow for a more expansive sound than ever before.
