Arctic Monkeys are hard at work touring in support of Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino but a recent stop in New York brought them to Electric Lady Studios where they laid down two recordings as a part of the Spotify Singles series.
One was a live version of single “Four Out Of Five,” and the other was a cover of the Stephen Fretwell song “-” taken from his 2004 album Magpie and performed solo by Turner. Fretwell also played bass for The Last Shadow Puppets live during the The Age of the Understatement era.
“-” definitely fits the headspace and mood of the new era and it can be streamed below along with the live performance of “Four Out Of Five.”
