Yesterday UK singer-songwriter Mike Rosenberg, better known in the music world as Passenger, released his new album as Runaway (via Nettwerk).
We heard of few of the new cuts when he played the main stage at Newport Folk Festival this July and one of the highlights of the record is the sweeping folk anthem “Survivors.” Some people juts have a voice with a simple but effective quality that is enough to win you over. Throw on some acoustic guitar and strings and the track is elevated to another level. But taken at face value, it’s clear from “Survivors” that Rosenberg is gifted with supreme talent as a songwriting.
