Guitarist Gary Clark Jr. may have last released an album in 2015 with The Story of Sonny Boy Slim but it still feels like he’s been touring non-stop ever since. We just caught him at Newport Folk Festival and he returned to us in New York on August 9 for a free performance during a beautiful night at Prospect Park as a part of the BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival.
