Manchester singer Caoilfhionn Rose is set to release her debut album Awaken later this year via Gondwana Records. She’s given us a taste of the record with the dreamy title track which was released as its first single.
“Awaken” is a gorgous listen that showcases some pretty incredible vocals and an immediate talent for melody that incorporates some old school songwriting elements, given them a welcome modern polish. The song is about noticing nature and everything around you, about taking a step back from your problems and going for a walk outside.
