Following the first two nights of Radiohead at Madison Square Garden it was hard to imagine them topping those performances (find coverage from Night 1 here and Night 2 here). But then again, it is Radiohead we are talking about and like fine wine the shows typically get better the later you see them in a multi-night run.
But it was on night 3 of this run that everything aligned perfectly, resulting in the best performance of the entire four-night run. From the best crowd of all the shows to a fitting setlist (with new inclusions such as “Videotape” and “Like Spinning Plates”) that gelled perfectly with the atmosphere in the room that evening, the band were in high spirits and everything was in perfect sync that resulted in a performance for the ages.
