U.K. trio Dream Wife recently released their self-titled debut album via Lucky Number Music. The week of its release they played a headlining show of their own at Elsewhere’s Zone One and they followed that performance with an opening slot for Sleigh Bells at Rough Trade NYC on January 23.

Upon the very first note, the band absolutely had complete command of the stage, led by the fierce guitar attack from Alice Go and the captivating lead performance of lead singer and frontwoman Rakel Mjöll. They, along with the rhythm section of bassist Bella Podpadec and drummer Alex Paveley led a pop-punk attack that was every bit as exciting as it was addicting.

I hope to catch these guys again here soon with a headlining show of their own. For now, enjoy some photos from their performance posted below.
