Sam Seeger is no stranger to this blog, the local Rockland County resident has been self-releasing a great set of tunes for some time now. Growing up in a household full of talented artists: filmmakers, painters and fellow musicians, Sam was always on his way to create something of his own in the world of music.

Over the years he’s self-released his material, getting better and better as an artist with each and every release. Today we have the distinct honor of premiering his brand new 3-song EP Doin’ It All The Time and let me tell you, it’s his finest work yet.

On this release he recorded with his brother Max Seeger who played bass and Rosie Slater, drummer of New Myths, who also made an appearance on Frank Ocean’s “Device Control” last year. The result is an EP full of Seeger’s most fully realized rock songs to date.

His already signature style is still very much there, but given a much larger and anthemic feel that features the biggest songwriting of his career. These are big time rock songs that have taken on a life of their own and deserve some real recognition.

We have the exclusive stream of this great EP available to listen right below. If you like what you hear, give the EP a purchase over at his bandcamp page and check out some of his past releases while you’re there.
