Fans are still patiently waiting for Icelandic trio Sigur Ros to release their new album, but in the meantime, the group has been keeping busy with constant touring across the world. We last saw them just last year when they headlined Radio City Music Hall, and they have kept to the road steadily ever since.
They stopped into Queens on June 17 for a performance at Forest Hills Stadium. The show began with grey skies and some rain, but as the band dug deeper into their setlist, thankfully the weather evened out and they were able to give us a beautiful performance well into the night. The set featured some of the new songs they showcased last time around, as well as a healthy dosage of older favorites.
Next time we see Sigur Ros we are likely to have a new album along the way, which we can’t wait to hear. For now, enjoy some photos from their Forest Hills Stadium performance posted below, along with the setlist.
