On July 31, Nice As Fuck, the power super-trio of Jenny Lewis, Tennessee Thomas, and Erika Spring, returned to New York for a sold out performance at Rough Trade NYC (they’d do an early and late show the next day at Bowery Ballroom).
As they did at Webster Hall for their NYC live debut opening for M Ward, NAF opted to come into the crowd to make their stage surrounded by the audience. They ran through a brisk 9-song set (that ran about 28 minutes) consisting of the entirety of their enjoyable self-titled debut album that they released this summer via Lewis’ own Love’s Way Records.
