Come November 22, I will be catching a midnight screening of Hunger Games: Catching Fire for a review over at MMM. I was pleasantly surprised by the first film, and am excited to see what comes next.
The first had a good soundtrack featuring original songs by Arcade Fire and The Decemberists. The new soundtrack also has some good tracks, featuring new music from artists like Coldplay and The National. We already shared the vintage sounding Coldplay song, “Atlas.”
Now take a listen to The National’s offering, “Lean.” It sounds like it would have been right at home on Trouble Will Find Me, with a more widescreen epic approach that makes it a good fit for a movie of the Hunger Game’s scope.
