It’s been a long time since we’ve heard or seen anything from Fleet Foxes, or their frontman, Robin Pecknold. I was beginning to get worried. But alas, earlier this week he made his return on live TV.
Pecknold, along with Daniel Rossen of Grizzly Bear and drummer Neil Morgan, covered Pearl Jam’s “Corduroy” on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, who have been celebrating Pearl Jam all week long with other bands covering their songs, as well as Pearl Jam themselves playing.
It’s a bit random that Pecknold/Rossen were chosen to participate, but they know what they’re doing, and knock the cover out of the park. It’s weird seeing Pecknold with almost no hair, which makes the whole thing even more of a must watch.
