Sun Kil Moon, the solo project of Mark Kozelek will return with a new album titled Benji next year. It will come out February 4 on his own label, Caldo Verde Records. He released a new song called “Richard Ramirez Died Today of Natural Causes.”
He references the passing of the great James Gandolfini in the song which sees him almost talk-rap in a Modest Mouse-like fashion. It soon takes off into a really awesome alt-western territory. It’s awesome.
