Everyone’s favorite Springfield, Missouri rockers Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin have finally returned. On September 17 they will release their new album Fly By Wire on Polyvinyl Records. It’s their first studio album since 2010’s Let It Sway. The album was made in the same attic where they made their debut album, Broom. It comes after they traveled to Russia on an invitation from the Boris Yeltsin Foundation itsef acting as the US cultural ambassadors for the day.
The band, now a trio with the departure of John Rob, have unveiled first single “Nightwater Girlfriend.” The band haven’t lost their way, sounding as great as ever. It’s a fuzzy rocker than features the smart twee-pop that the band seem alble to summon at ease.
