Of all the bands summoned to the hurricane like weather on Friday, the sun-tailored Best Coast were probably the least appropriate. Bethany didn’t shy away from the fact that if she were in our position, she would have nothing to do with the mud and rain. But she was on the stage, and did her thing in solid fashion as always. It’s still strange seeing Best Coast as a fully fleshed out 4-piece rock outfit now, as I will always think of them as the lo-fi product of a girl from Cali.
