It’s been nearly 3 years since I first posted (and interviewed) Best Coast, which is pretty insane thinking about it. She was the main draw at the Red Bull Soundstage on Tuesday and Adrian Grenier – who played Vinny on Entourage – was standing a few feet over from us watching in the crowd. So yeah, she’s come a long, long, way since those lo-fi single days.
Her band now features a full band with a new drummer and bass player. Her live show has, of course, grown miles over the years and it’s safe to say Best Coast have grown into one of the biggest bands on the scene.
