Mikey a.k.a. Blackbird Blackbird just hit me up with a new song called “Modern Disbelief” that is a sweet hazy jam. It’s pretty hot up at school, and this song is playing to the conditions pretty well. It’s going to be an exclusive bonus on his Summer Heart LP which will be released via Arcade Sound Ltd. on September 28. It features a Marvin Gaye “Night Fever” sample. He also said that the song was a result of listening to a lot of Joy Division.
